TRANQUILITY. If you love the sun and the sea of Las Americas but loathe the noise and bustle then Altamira is the place for you. There is a much greater feeling of open space and peace at this end of Las Americas. Altamira is right on the seafront with a beach one minute away and the promenade is quiet – no jostling, pavement shops or timeshare touts. For the keen, the promenade walk can be enjoyed all the way to Los Cristianos on the opposite side of Las Americas. A few minutes walk in the other direction takes you to the ‘viewpoint’ near the fishing village of La Caleta – a wonderful panoramic view from here especially at sunset.

Buses to many parts of the island stop right outside the complex creating easy access to other parts of the island.

Puerto Colon / Costa Adeje is a very popular area for people of all ages. This apartment is approximately 350 meters walk to Puerto Colon beach and the many restaurants, bars (to suit all budgets) and shops this area has to offer. There are many excursions available from Puerto Colon including boat trips to see the whales and dolphins and deep sea fishing to name a few. Puerto Colon is also close to the more lively resort of Playa De Las Americas which has more lively bars and entertainment. A short walk along the coast from Puerto Colon will bring you to the Fañabe area of Costa Adeje. This region has a large sandy beach and is home to a range of exclusive bars and restaurants. The championship Costa Adeje Golf course is also near by. There are also many attractions for families which include crazy golf, trampolines and the 2 water parks in the area!

The sleeping area consists of two single beds and there is room for a cot. A cot can be requested at booking and will be provided free of charge, subject to availability. Having been recently refurbished to a very high standard, this air-conditioned studio will provide the perfect base for your relaxing holiday in the sun. The views of the stunning pool area, out to sea and La Gomera beyond are magnificent. The bath has been replaced by a large, walk-in shower in the beautiful, newly refitted bathroom. The kitchen is compact and includes a two ring hob and microwave/grill/convection oven, so is inappropriate for anyone planning on doing a lot of cooking, but is ample for most peoples’ holiday needs. The twin bedded sleeping area is separated from the lounge by a low wall and curtain. The lounge has a leather sofa and leather reclining chair to make viewing of the TV, (offering English channels) and video, really comfortable. The inside dining area offers an alternative to the balcony, where table, chairs, sunblind and sun-beds are provided. The del Duque beach is ahead of you and you can walk right to the charming fishing village of La Caleta, or left to the exclusive shops and restaurants of the Bahia del Duque area. You are welcome to enjoy the evening entertainment provided within the local hotels, and a handy supermarket is just across the road. Being only a fifteen minute walk into Fañabe, you are close to all the shops and nightlife, yet far enough away to enjoy a tranquil, relaxing holiday.

The owners of this apartment live locally and are therefore on hand should you have any queries or problems during your stay.
