This apartment is on the quiet complex of Terrazas De La Paz in the resort of Golf Del Sur and is only a short walk from the central commercial centre where many bars, restaurants and shops can be found. There are a number of activities around the Golf Del Sur providing you with a little bit of everything and if you want to venture into the livelier resorts of Playa De Las Americas or Los Christianos then these are only a 15 minute drive away. There is a bus stop just up from the complex and taxis are a plenty. If it’s a quiet relaxing holiday you’re after then this is the apartment for you.

A coastal walk will take you to either the traditional fishing village of Los Abrigos where many fish restaurants can be found or to the new Marina of Amarilla Golf. The Golf Del Sur has plenty to offer but if you want to go exploring then you can book to go on various excursions from the reception.

This development is generally considered to be one of the finest in the area and the apartment is located within close proximity to the newly built marina. There is a good choice of bars, shops and restaurants, all within walking distance, including two Italians, a Mexican, Chinese and the recently opened Teppanyaki restaurant, there is also a choice of two supermarkets close by. The apartment is ideally located, situated within close proximity to the newly developed marina and although Golf del Sur is a quieter resort than the well known popular Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos (10Km away), there is a good choice of bars, shops and excellent restaurants to choose from within a very short walking distance (200yards), including two Italian restaurants, a Chinese, Mexican and the recently opened Teppanyaki Japanese restaurant, which is excellent, there is a choice of two supermarkets within walking distance, one of which is adjacent to the complex. A 15 minute walk will bring you to San Blas commercial centre where you will find three picturesque squares each with an array of boutiques, good quality bars and restaurants, banks, a doctor, a chemist, a large supermarket and an internet café.

GOLF : Golf del Sur is home to a 27 hole par 72 course of the same name. The course was opened in 1987, and still today is one of the most important golf courses on Tenerife and has hosted the European PGA Tour on many occasions. The wide fairways are lined with over 8,000 palm trees and are enhanced by the striking black sand bunkers. An all year round place to play golf in the sun and within easy reach of the apartment. The course is open to visitors although pre-booking is advised. Amarilla Golf is also within a 5 minute drive and is an equally stunning course with some of the most picturesque holes you will ever play.
Sight Seeing, Shopping & Restaurants: Maybe hire a car or take an organised trip around the Island and explore all what Tenerife has to offer. Mount Teide dominates the Island and is well worth a trip to take in the rugged volcanic scenery and up to the summit in the cable car. Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands situated approximately 200 miles off the north coast of Africa. It is just four hours flying time from the UK. The average temperature ranges from 19* in January to 30* at the height of the summer. The winter months are the busiest in the Canary Islands because of the general all-year-round temperatures. Golf Del Sur is around 10 minutes drive from Tenerife South Airport on the coast of the island as you drive towards the resorts of Los Cristianos/Las Americas.Golf Del Sur has everything from golf courses, water sports, restaurants/shops/bars and a marina to stunning scenery but yet it remains a haven for peace and tranquillity. If you are a party reveller seeking the nightclubs this is not the place for you! There is a beautiful coastal path leading from the marina to San Blas Square which passes many coffee shops/restaurants etc. In San Blas you will find a bank, church, internet cafe, shops and numerous restaurants/bars.

Golf: The resort of Golf Del Sur has a golf course of the same name. This is a 27 hole, par 72 course, built in 1987 and has hosted several PGA championships. Amarilla Golf is a stunning 18 hole course situated in Golf Del Sur and has excellent clubhouse facilities. There are four more courses within an easy driving distance and eight on the entire island. Most of the courses offer deals if you enquire in advance but this is also dependant on the season. Green fees drop considerably from May/June but check with each individual clubhouse first.

Winter Gardens: An attractive, well presented complex built in 2002, dominated by the only International Bowling Green on the island. It offers a superb bowls arena which is open daily to the public but also caters for large tour parties of bowlers from all over the globe. There is an on-site bowling coordinator and bowls reception. The bowling green has 8 rinks, flat greengage bowling surface and opens daily from 9am to late evening under floodlight. A restaurant, bar and a snack bar cater for the residents and visitors to Winter Gardens. Tuition is on hand if required and families are welcome. The complex also hosts barbecues, cabaret nights and bowling competitions.

Amenities : Close to Winter Gardens are a number of restaurants offering Chinese/Thai/Japanese, Spanish, Tapas, Mexican and seafood cuisine. The seafront is literally a five minute walk away and on Friday mornings there is a weekly market close by. A new marina has recently been completed and offers a variety of water sports such as sailing courses to water skiing, scuba diving and canoeing. About a mile from the complex there is a go-karting course and for those who want to venture a little further, Loro Parque Zoo is a great place to visit for a day out. Mount Teide is the main attraction on the island. This is an extinct volcano which can be reached by cable car and is well worth a visit for its stunning scenery alone. Los Christianos and Las Americas are more lively resorts and are easily accessed by taxi for serious shoppers and party revellers. Siam Park is a brand new aqua park situated near Los Christianos and is supposedly the largest in Europe.

A portable fan is also available for those hot summer nights. Plenty of hanging space is provided for all those ´holiday clothes´, along with iron and ironing board. The kitchen has a good range of utensils along with microwave, kettle, cool bag for keeping the drinks cool at the beach and a good selection of glasses from sangria to champagne. Golf Information: The apartment is just 5 minutes walk from the fantastic PGA approved 27 hole Championship Golf Course at Golf Del Sur which has hosted the European Tour ‘Tenerife Open’. This fantastic course has delightful areas of native flora and exceptional bunkers of black, volcanic sand which is typical of the Island. Top names are frequent players here and the splendid Clubhouse is within easy walking distance. Facilities include club rental, golf cart rental, golf teacher, putting green, practice tee, sports shop, coffee shop, restaurant, bowling and tennis. Amarilla Golf, Golf Las Americas, Real Club de Tenerife and the new Costa Golf Adeje are also situated within easy driving distance.
Beach towels are not provided. Some steps lead up to the apartment. The bedroom sleeps up to two people and a sofa bed is available in the lounge. For bookings of 10 days or more there will be a linen/towel change at the end of each full week. All details can be confirmed upon booking.

Local Interest: The complex of Sand Club is very quiet yet only minutes walk away from the many facilities offered.
