Local Activities in and around El Duque: El Duque is an excellent base for golf and water sports devotees. There is also a superb gym and spa nearby. Shoppers are well catered for too: designer shops abound and a local market is held on a Thursday and Saturday morning. The market is just a few minutes walk away. Next to the market is a bus stop. From here you can get to virtually anywhere you want to go, whether it is Playa de Las Américas, Los Cristianos, Santa Cruz or Puerto de la Cruz etc. Good places to visit are Los Gigantes (nice quiet resort), Santa Cruz for the shopping (bus station is right next to El Corte Ingles – the biggest store on the Island) and Puerto de la Cruz for Loro Parc (really good zoo).

The complex itself has two swimming pools both with children’s section, the large sun terraces and gardens are well maintained and there is also a poolside snack bar, serving drinks, breakfasts, snacks and meals from 9.30am until 8pm. The complex also has a supermarket at the entrance which sells just about everything you may require. There are a large number of bars, restaurants and supermarkets all within easy walking distance. The beach is just a 5 minute stroll away, and the aquapark and bi-weekly torvicas market are both only 15 minutes walk away. The new Siam Park is also within walking distance of about 20 minutes.
This two bedroomed apartment is superior to many. The apartment is located upside of the Costa Adeje with a wonderful view over the whole coast and over Playa de las Americas. While viewing above the Atlantic, you can see casually also the neighboor-island La Gomera. In the evenings you have a fantastic view over the sea of lights from the city. But also the view to upstairs is it worth: You can enjoy the panorama over the mountains to the Roque del Conde. The location is quiet and although central, because you can get in a few minutes with the car to all beaches of the Costa Adeje and Las Americas. Also to the pictoresque harbor of Los Cristianos is not far away. A new attraction is the SIAM-Parc and the Aqua-Parc Octopus. Shopping facilities are also nearby. Las Americas is the tourist center from Tenerife with scores of restaurants, bars, bancs and sports activities. The climate is mild all over the year.
