The house is about 90 m2 and has a very large living room featuring a dining area for 8 people. There are two bedrooms, each one with an en-suite bathroom. A modern kitchen has been equipped with an electric hob, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, toaster, microwave oven etc. Naturally, there are – as in all our properties – pots, pans, crockery as well as cutlery as glasses. A washing machine is also available, as there will be installed SAT-TV to receive all major television and radio channels from March 2005 on. Bed linen, towels, bath towels and tea towels are provided in plenty.

The small town San Juan of de la Rambla lies approximately 10 km west of Puerto of de la Cruz. It is worthwhile driving into the town and to have a look around. The houses exhibit many of the peculiarities of the island’s architecture. You can still find windows, doors and balconies skillfully carved in wood. The village of Las Aguas, a typically Canarian fishing community, is located down by the sea and only explored by a few more adventurous tourists. There is a seawater swimming pool there and the opportunity to walk along the beautiful coast. A group of artists regularly displays its work and exhibits the work of other painters and sculptors there too. On the roof terrace, you can enjoy the view and the atmosphere with a coffee.
The situation: “Caballos” finca is located near the town of San Juan de la Rambla and right in the middle of a banana plantation. Many other fruits besides bananas grow here, such as oranges, lemons, mangos etc. The house lies right by the sea and is ideal for 4 people. A small footpath and the sound of the waves lead you down to the see, which is only 20m away. The house has a long history and was completely renovated in 2003 and fitted with modern technology. The country-typical style of this home was not altered on that occasion. This was the original home of the local large landowner. There is a large sun terrace at the front of the house with a view over the Atlantic. There is another terrace alongside the house, right beside the large banana plantation. Sun beds and garden furniture are provided. The view of the sea is phenomenal! You can see Puerto de la Cruz and, in clear weather, even beyond Bajamar.
