The complex is conveniently situated within easy access of the village of Los Gigantes and Santiago Puerto and has many restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. There is a supermarket a few yards away. Taxis and buses stop adjacent to the resort. There are two heated pools. For those who just want to relax there are ample sun loungers and parasols available and a pool bar is open all day serving drinks and tasty snacks. A weekly barbecue with entertainment is a very social occassion. For the more active there are tennis courts, pool table and bowls available for a small fee. The reception is open all day and there are helpful multilingual staff who can assist with booking and information on the above together with car hire and other excursions such as Siam Park, Loro Park etc. There are endless places to walk to from El Marques Palace, particularly the village of Los Gigantes which nestles at the side of the giant cliffs after which it was namew
