Los Cristianos offers relaxation, leisure and fun. A relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere fills the streets and avenues. In the morning the beaches are lively. In the afternoon and evening the terrace cafes are full of atmosphere as locals are unbinding and tourists are absorbing the holiday atmosphere. Shopping centres, first class shows and active leisure are other options of the area. There are a number of tourist offices in Los Cristianos, at the Cultural Centre, main bus station and on the promenade. Find as follows a snap shot of what activities are on offer: Mount Teide National Park Loro Parque, in Puerto de la Cruz, is one of the oldest leisure centres on the island. The enormous collection of parrots, the aquarium, the penguinarium, the largest in the world, and its parrot, dolphin and sea lion shows, in a superbly-tended setting is popular by its many visitors. Whale and Dolphin watching – daily boat trips are another very popular option.
