It features an eight rink all weather floodlit International Bowling green. Our Apartment is fantastically positioned alongside the swimming pools and pool bar, on the ground floor.It also directly overlook the Bowls green from the huge (90sq m.) well equipped patio. Also onsite are two restaurants, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, gymnasium, Bowls and Golf shop. The entire complex is wheelchair friendly. The apartment has its own secure parking space under the Bowls green.

Living-room/lounge, with patio doors leading onto 90sq.m. patio equipped with sunbeds, parasol, reclining chairs, large table with seating for 8, overlooking Bowls green on lower level and pool area to the side. Golf del Sur is five minutes drive from Tenerife Airport, and is about 15 minutes to Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas.On leaving the Airport, take the TF1 motorway in the direction of Los Cristianos. After about 5km take the filter for Los Abrigos and proceed over the motorway and through a double system of roundabouts leaving Mercadona Supermarket on your right. The filter for the Golf del Sur is about 100m past Mercadona on your right. Follow down through the urbanization until you pass the Irish pub Grandee O’Donells on your left and then the upper entrance to Winter Gardens on your right. Continue on down the hill and then bear right (two way traffic again). Follow the road around until you see the lower entrance to Winter Gardens opposite the Golden Bay Chinese restaurant. You will then need to obtain the Zapper for the garage doors traffic lights from the apartment. The entrance to the garage is at the end of block 1 on your right. Point and zap the lights.
Golf and Bowls: Golf is available at the championship course which is five minutes walk from Winter Gardens. Also available at the Golf Club is trolley and buggy rental, driving range and pro shop, mini golf and tennis. Bowling is available at Winter Gardens itself.
Shops and Restaurants: Winter Gardens is approximately 10mins. walk from ‘San Blas Square,’ which consists of numerous shops, restaurants, supermarket, cafes and bars, internet cafe, chemist, etc. Several of the bars have live entertainment in the evenings. Closer to the complex, in fact just outside the entrance, there is an excellent Chinese restaurant, together with a Tapas bar and an International restaurant. There is a night club across the road at Santa Barbara Golf and Ocean Club, and another in ‘san Blas.’
Los Abrigos, a local fishing village with probably the finest seafood restaurants in Tenerife, is only a five minute drive, or if you feel inclined, just a further five minutes walk across the pebble beach from San Blas. Should you require something more lively, then Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas are only 10 mins. drive away. The Golf Del Sur is ideal for couples and families who don’t want the hustle and bustle of the big resorts and all the touting and and safety problems that go with them. The local beaches are unsuitable for children being rocky with pebbles, and the more suitable beaches are at El Medano (5 mins. drive north), or Los Cristianos (10/15 mins.drive south.)
