Sunningdale Village is one of several complexes that forms Golf del Sur, which is build around a golf course on the seashore line.Sunningdale Village is an established resort, which consists in total 150 luxury villas and apartments with a splendid pool and bar – restaurant area. The villa is on two floors, a few minutes walk away from the pool and bar – restaurant areas, hence relatively quiet but convenient. The front of the villa has a grass area and sun terrace, facing south. The ground floor has a large lounge/dining area, kitchen, large double bedroom, bathroom and conservatory with a double and single bed settees. The upper floor has a large double bedroom, ensuite bathroom and sun balcony with sea views.
The kitchen is a separate unit. Normal occupancy is Friday to Friday, arrival from 4.00pm, departure 10.00 am to permit departure clean on changeover. Sunningdale Village has luggage storage areas if the villa is not ready when you arrive before 2.00 pm or the villa needs to be cleaned before your departure time on the day you leave. The villa has all facilities that all mums and wives want, such as first aid kit, shoe cleaning, iron and board, microwave and washing machine etc..
Local Interest: The complex of San Blas is only a few minutes walk away. The facilities include bars, restaurants, car rental, varied shops, and hair dressers plus doctor and dentist. Within walking distance is the local fishing village of Los Abrigos with its promenade of fish restaurants. El Medano beach holds the world windsurfing championships and in Amarilla Golf there is a marina for boat rental, jet skis and diving. Mount Teide is only one hour drive away. Horse riding, tennis and bowls is close by.
Shopping and Clubbing: Tenerife is a duty free Island and there are many shops to choose from including the little boutiques in Santa Cruz or the shopping malls in Las Americas. Night clubs for the young and energetic are mainly in Las Americas but there are good local facilities on Golf del Sur including Sunningdale Village.
Golf / Bowls Information: Golf on the Island is varied from pitch and putt for the beginner to a selection of Championship courses. Most are in the south within a twenty minute drive. In winter months it is adviseable to book tee times to advoid disappointment. Renters on Sunningdale Village at the present time get a discount on the normal green fee on Golf del Sur golf course which is within walking distance. A new international bowls centre has been recently opened close by in Winter Gardens on Golf del Sur.
