2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeps 5. We have two spacious, well equipped two bedroom, two bathroom apartments situated on the attractive complex of Winter Gardens, Golf del Sur. No 17 has a lounge and dining area with patio doors leading to a spacious balcony with views across the street to the ocean. No 68 is a penthouse apartment with huge sun terrace as well as balcony. There is an outdoor shower on the sun terrace. There are TVs with BBC1, BBC2, ITV1 and Channel 4 available, DVD player and a radio cassette player in the lounge area. The fitted kitchen has a full size oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, iron/ironing board and washing machine. Bedrooms have twin beds and fitted wardrobes, the main bedroom has a separate wardrobe/dressing area. There is an en suite bathroom with bath, shower, bidet and toilet. The second bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet. Underground parking is available.

Restaurants and shops: Winter Gardens hosts family bowling mornings, bowling competitions and many other events. There is a restaurant overlooking the bowling green which is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a cup of coffee. Outside the apartment complex is a good selection of restaurants, including Chinese, Spanish, Tapas, Mexican, seafood and a grill house, all within easy walking distance. A 10 minute walk will take you to San Blas square. Here you will find a great choice of restaurants where you can enjoy the live entertainment provided by some of them. San Blas also has a bank, supermarket, cash point and several gift/duty free shops. A five minute car ride will take you to Los Abrigos, a lovely fishing village with many restaurants going down to the harbour. There are two small supermarkets next to Winter Gardens and a larger one at San Blas. There is a small market held on Sundays outside the Aguamarina Hotel, across the road from Winter Gardens.
Resort: Golf del Sur is ideal for families, being away from the hustle and bustle of the busy resorts, but within easy reach should you wish to explore them. There is a regular bus service to the beach resorts and Santa Cruz, as well as a taxi rank 100 metres from the top of the complex. It’s in a great location, you can relax by the pool or take a trip to some of the many wonderful attractions on Tenerife. Parque las Aguillas (the eagle park) in the south is a great day out. There are 2 aquaparks in Playa de las Americas. Golfers have a choice of courses to play on – Golf del Sur, Amarilla Golf, and within 20 minutes driving distance there are courses at Playa de Las Americas and Costa Adeja. Also, the bowling facilities at Winter Gardens are second to none. You can be a novice or an expert, tuition is available if you need it. Family bowling is available. If you want to visit the beach you can go to Los Cristianos, Playa de las Americas, Las Galletas or El Medano all about 15 minutes drive away.

Winter Gardens, in Golf del Sur, is about a 10 minute drive from Reina Sofia airport in the south of Tenerife and a further 10 minute drive to Los Cristianos. A 15 minute drive will take you to Playa de las Americas and it’s many beaches, restaurants, shops and bars. Santa Cruz, the island’s capital is about 40 minutes away by car. There is a coastal walk from the apartment that will take you to San Blas Commercial Centre in about 10 minutes. San Blas has a bank, cash point, supermarket, excursion booking offices and a good selection of restaurants and gift shops. A further 15 minute walk from San Blas will take you to Los Abrigos, a lovely fishing village with many restaurants and a harbour. There is also a good selection of restaurants within easy access of the apartment itself. Golf del Sur golf course is about a 10 minute walk away. The golf course has 27 holes, a driving range, pitch and putt and a club house. Within easy driving distance is the Amarilla Golf course.
